Organisational Development and Capacity Building
Communio works with clients to implement organisational development and improvement strategies.
Our approach to all our work is based on a belief that individuals, organisations and communities have existing strengths and assets that provide a sound basis for positive change. We work collaboratively to build on these assets — both to meet the immediate needs of current projects, and to strengthen the capacity of our clients to operate more effectively in the future.
We have particular experience in managing change within both small and large organisations. We understand the changes that can be encountered and have developed and tested strategies to mitigate against these. We support and walk alongside our clients as they proceed through the change experience.
Our strengths in this area include:
· Our collaborative approach with clients which helps to ensure that their specific needs and requirements are being met
· Our vision of delivering sustainable outcomes in terms of the knowledge, skills, resources and relationships that a project ‘leaves behind’ for the organisation or community to build on in the future
· Our aim to help strengthen and expand existing networks and relationships across organisations and communities through our projects
· Our focus on inclusivity, enabling diverse voices to provide their input and expertise
Communio can work in a mentoring or facilitation capacity or can provide project officers to work with the client’s staff to undertake specific tasks in a timely and cost effective manner.
Some of the areas in which we work include:
· Grant Submissions
· Consultations that informs actions and outcomes
· Analysing rich data
· Policy development
· Service design and development
· Process mapping and redesign
· Business case development
